REQUIREMENTS FOR THE F. FOWLER ROOT SCHOLARSHIP
First Place winners receives: $5000
Second Place winners receives: $2500
1. Must be a graduating Senior in High School advancing to a 4 yr College, Trade School or Two-Year College
2. Must reside in the New Lebanon, Chatham School, Ichabod Crane Districts
3. Can be Home Schooled, Private Schooled, or Questar- but residency within the above districts
4. Must enclose your school transcript (You do not have to be Valedictorian or Salutatorian)
5. Must complete the application on paper or at the URL below
6. Must submit an essay indicating why the applicant feels that they are qualified to receive the scholarship. This will count a great deal towards the score
7. Must submit a minimum of one letter of recommendation from a person not a parent and one from a teacher
8. Deadline for Applications April 30, 2024
Payment will be made directly to the college of your choice.
